Sinopsis
La joven Michelle McNelly (Ayesha Kapoor) es una chica sorda e invidente, completamente salvaje debido a que sus padres son incapaces de entenderla. A un profesor retirado, el señor Debraj (Amitabh Bachchan), le es asignada la tarea de enseñar a la joven a comunicarse. Pero Michelle se rebela contra los métodos de enseñanza de Debraj. De esa manera, el conflicto surge entre el profesor y los padres de Michelle. Éstos deciden mandarla a un asilo, pero Debraj se empeña en su educación.
