Sinopsis
En la Roma de la postguerra, dominada por la miseria y el desempleo, dos jóvenes limpiabotas sueñan con comprarse un caballo. La única forma de conseguir el dinero necesario es comerciar en el mercado negro, pero los muchachos intentan en todo momento no ser detenidos.
Synopsis
Two shoeshine boys in postwar Rome, Italy save up to buy a horse, but their involvement as dupes in a burglary lands them in juvenile prison; the experience take a devastating toll on their friendship.
