Sinopsis
Boogiepop Phantom es una serie de televisión de anime de doce episodios producida por Madhouse Studios, basada en la serie de novelas ligeras de Boogiepop de Kouhei Kadono, particularmente la de Boogiepop y Others y Boogiepop At Dawn. La serie está dirigida por Takashi Watanabe, de un guión de Sadayuki Murai, con diseños de personajes originales del ilustrador novel Kouji Ogata y dirección sonora de Yota Tsuruoka. La historia tiene lugar en una ciudad japonesa sin nombre, un mes después de que un pilar de luz apareció en el cielo nocturno y cinco años después de una serie de asesinatos en serie. Synopsis
Five years ago, a string of grisly murders shook the city to its core and now the rumors have begun once more. Boogiepop... Everyone knows about Boogiepop: meet her one dark night and you are taken. People tell each other the stories and laugh: no one believes that she can possibly exist in this day and age. Still, strange things appear to be going on and the darkness is taking on many forms.
