Sinopsis
La historia se centra en un glóbulo rojo novato, miembro de las otras 37 trillones de células en el cuerpo. ¡Pero algo anda mal! Las hormonas del estrés le siguen gritando que aceleren cada vez más el ritmo. Los vasos sanguíneos están cubiertos de colesterol. Úlceras, hígado graso, problemas (ejem) abajo… ¡Es difícil para una célula hacer su trabajo cuando todos los días hay CÓDIGO NEGRO! Hataraku Saibou mostró los que sucede dentro de un cuerpo joven y saludable… pero, ¿qué pasa si el cuerpo no es tan joven y nunca fue muy saludable? ¡Hataraku Saibō BLACK cuenta la historia de un cuerpo de este tipo, protagonizada por un glóbulo rojo y un glóbulo blanco, mientras luchan por sobrevivir al mismo tiempo que cumplen su trabajo dentro de un cuerpo que sufre de alcoholismo, tabaquismo, disfunción eréctil, pie de atleta, gota… literalmente un horror corporal. ¡Quienquiera que sea este tipo, tiene suerte de que las células no pueden ponerse en huelga!
Synopsis
Alcohol, smoking, and stress—in the body subjected to these irritants, the cells responsible for maintaining life seem to fight a war that never ends. Due to a severe shortage of workers, Red Blood Cell AA2153 has to quickly learn to deliver oxygen and collect carbon dioxide, even in dangerous conditions. Meanwhile, White Blood Cell U-1196 has to do her part by dealing with germs and viruses during life-threatening situations. In the midst of these crises, they have to work together to keep the body healthy, despite not knowing if their sacrifices will be worthwhile. Cells at Work! Code Black takes a different approach by showing the grittier side of the jobs our cells perform.
