Sinopsis
Hideki es un chico de Hokaido que llega a la gran ciudad de Tokio para ir a la Universidad. Al instante queda anonadado por la gran variedad y cantidad de Persocons: ordenadores personales diseñados para que se parezcan y actúen como animales o inclusos personas. Hideki es pobre y no tiene dinero para comprarse uno, así que no puede dar crédito a sus ojos cuando ve una Persocon abandonada en la basura. Sin embargo, este regalo del destino se convierte en todo un misterio ya que su Persocon, Chi, es capaz de funcionar sin sistema operativo. ¿Será verdad?
Synopsis
Tokyo is abuzz with persocoms – humanoid computers that are virtually perfect. The socially and technologically inept Hideki is dying to get his hands on one. When he finds Chii abandoned in the trash, she’s cuter than any current model he’s ever seen before. But when he gets her home and turns her on, she has no data and only a single learning program installed. While Hideki puts his whole heart into teaching Chii the ins and outs of humanity, a mystery unfolds as a dark secret within her awakens.
