Sinopsis
Berlín en la década de 1920. Un lugar deslumbrante, pero los tiempos no solo son dorados, están marcados por la pobreza y la delincuencia. Vicky llega a la ciudad, guiada por promesas de una vida mejor, busca trabajo. Pero tan pronto como llega allí, sus esperanzas y sueños se encuentran con un frío despertar. Sin lugar para quedarse y sin nada a su nombre, la contratan para trabajar como vendedora en una glamorosa tienda por departamentos recién establecida. Pero los fundadores también luchan por sobrevivir, al igual que Vicky. Los tiempos son difíciles, y está a punto de volverse más difícil.
Synopsis
Berlin in the 1920s. A dazzling place, but times are not only golden, they are marked by poverty and crime. Vicky arrives in the city, led by promises of a better life, she’s looking for a job. But as soon as she gets there, her hopes and dreams are met with a cold awakening. With no place to stay and nothing to her name, she hires on to work as a saleswoman at a newly-established, glamorous department store. But the founders are also fighting for survival, just like Vicky. Times are tough, and it’s about to get tougher.
