Sinopsis
La trama gira acerca de Steve Austin (Lee Majors), un astronauta y piloto de pruebas quien sufre un terrible accidente durante un vuelo experimental; los médicos deben amputarle ambas piernas y el brazo derecho; pierde la visión del ojo izquierdo. La agencia gubernamental O.S.I. que trabajaba en el desarrollo de un proyecto secreto llamado Biónica, toma a Steve como sujeto de prueba y reemplaza sus miembros perdidos por partes cibernéticas que tienen un costo de seis millones de dólares (de ahí el nombre de la serie). Los nuevos miembros le dan una fuerza enorme, además de gran velocidad y capacidades de visión telescópica e infrarroja. Después de esto, y como pago a la deuda por su intervención quirúrgica, Steve se convierte en agente de O.S.I. y cumple peligrosas misiones.
Synopsis
Follow the adventures of Steve Austin, cybernetically enhanced astronaut turned secret agent, employed by the OSI, under the command of Oscar Goldman and supervised by the scientist who created his cybernetics, Rudy Wells. Steve uses the superior strength and speed provided by his bionic arm and legs, and the enhanced vision provided by his artificial eye, to fight enemy agents, aliens, mad scientists, and a wide variety of other villains.
