Sinopsis

Un día, un misterioso portal conocido como la "Puerta" se abre en el corazón de Tokio, desatando una invasión de un mundo de fantasía lleno de caballeros medievales y criaturas mágicas. Tras repeler el ataque con tecnología militar moderna, las Fuerzas de Autodefensa Japonesas (JSDF) cruzan la Puerta para explorar el "Otro Mundo" (la Región Especial). El teniente Youji Itami, un oficial otaku, es asignado para liderar el equipo de reconocimiento. Su misión inicial de exploración pronto se convierte en una compleja tarea de diplomacia, supervivencia e intervención política. Itami y su equipo —ayudados por una maga, una elfa oscura y una semidiosa— deben navegar por la intriga de un Imperio en crisis y utilizar su poder superior para negociar la paz, enfrentando los desafíos de un choque cultural sin precedentes entre la fantasía y la realidad moderna.

Synopsis

On August 20XX, a gate suddenly appears in Tokyo's Ginza district, unleashing a portal where monsters, medieval knights and other fantasy beings come from another world and wreak havoc on Tokyo. The Japanese Defense Force take action against these monsters and push them back into the "Gate". Third Reconnaissance Team is dispatched to the "Special Region" lead by officer (and otaku) Youji Itami. On their travels, they are joined by a beautiful elf girl who is a survivor from the dragon's rampage and guide the group across the dangerous new world.
