Sinopsis
La historia trata de Demetan ( Jonathan en la versión en Inglés), un pobre rana joven que vive en Rainbow Estanque con su madre y su padre (un fabricante de juguetes), que se hace amigo de una rana popular y dulce niña llamada Ranatan (conocido como Pookie y más tarde Hilary en diferentes versiones en inglés), a pesar de las diferencias en sus posiciones sociales: Ranatan es la hija del líder de Rainbow Pond (nombre Inglés, Leopold), mientras que Demetan y sus padres son ranas de árbol, que los hacen parias automáticos en la comunidad. Synopsis
A poor young frog living in Rainbow Pond with his mother and father (a toymaker), who becomes friends with a popular and sweet girl frog named Ranatan, despite the differences in their social standings: Ranatan is the daughter of the leader of Rainbow Pond, while Demetan and his parents are tree frogs, which make them automatic outcasts in the community. Together, Demetan and Ranatan enjoy many adventures.
