Sinopsis
Ambiciosa y espectacular docuserie centrada en mostrar cómo sería la primera misión tripulada al planeta rojo, y qué mueve a los científicos e ingenieros que están trabajando para que sea una realidad en un futuro no demsiado lejano. Entre los expertos figuran desde Andy Weir, autor de la novela en la que se basó 'Marte (The Martian)' a Elon Musk, fundador de SpaceX, el astronauta Scott Kelly o el administrador de la NASA, Charles Bolden. En la parte de ficción destacan nombres como los de Olivier Martínez, Alberto Ammann o la cantante coreana Jihae.
Synopsis
The maiden crew of the Daedalus spacecraft must push itself to the brink of human capability in order to successfully establish the first sustainable colony on Mars. Set both in the future and in the present day, this series blends scripted elements set in the future with documentary vérité interviews with today’s best and brightest minds in modern science and innovation, illuminating how research and development is creating the space technology that will enable our first attempt at a mission to Mars.
