Sinopsis
Maricruz y Beatriz son amigas del colegio; Beatriz pertenece a una familia de clase acomodada, contrariamente Maricruz es una chica de estrato social bajo. Ambas están a punto de convertirse en quinceañeras y se preparan para dejar atrás su niñez. Los problemas del entorno familiar y social las afectan directamente; para Beatriz la ruptura matrimonial de sus padres, se convierte en el principal obstáculo a vencer, aunado al despertar sexual acompañado de tabues y desinformación. Mientras tanto Maricruz luchará contra la sobreprotección y prejucios de su madre, además de sobrellevar la tensión que le produce uno de sus vecinos, quien está obsesionado con ella.
Synopsis
Maricruz and Beatriz are school friends; Beatriz comes from a well-to-do family, whereas Maricruz belongs to a lower socioeconomic stratum. Both are on the verge of turning fifteen and are preparing to leave childhood behind. Issues within their family and social environments affect them directly; for Beatriz, her parents' marital breakdown becomes the primary obstacle to overcome, compounded by a sexual awakening fraught with taboos and misinformation. Meanwhile, Maricruz must contend with her mother's overprotectiveness and prejudices, as well as the tension caused by a neighbor who is obsessed with her.
