Sinopsis
Esta serie es un spin-off de “SCTV Network 90”, la cual fue cancelada después de dos temporadas en NBC. El mismo elenco de 1982 a 1983, con la excepción de John Candy, aparece en esta comedia de sketches de 45 minutos. Todo comienza cuando Guy Cabellaro, el cerebro detrás de “SCTV”, anuncia que convertirá su estación en un canal de cable de pago. Los resultados son divertidos, ya que el mismo humor frenético y los personajes locos que hicieron tan grande la antigua SCTV Network continuaron prosperando. Desafortunadamente, la serie era demasiado cara para los gustos de Cinemax y fue cancelada después de un año.
Synopsis
This show was spun off from "SCTV Network 90" which was cancelled after two seasons on NBC. The same cast from 1982-83, with the exception of John Candy, appears on this 45-minute sketch comedy series. It all starts when "SCTV" mastermind Guy Cabellaro announces that he's turning his station into a pay cable channel. The results are amusing, as the same manic humor and wacky characters that made the old SCTV Network so great continued to thrive. Unfortunately, the show was too expensive to produce for Cinemax's tastes and it was cancelled after one year.
