Sinopsis
"Superman: La serie animada" es protagonizada por Superman y forma parte del mismo universo de "Batman: La serie animada", "Batman del futuro", "Liga de la Justicia" y "Liga de la Justicia Ilimitada". A diferencia de otras versiones, esta serie no está dirigida a un público infantil, pues las aventuras no tienen un "mensaje" y los personajes no son unidimensionalmente "buenos" o "malos". La acción tiene un buen grado de violencia, y en más de una ocasión hay personajes que son asesinados o condenados a la pena de muerte. El protagonista principal es Superman, y lo acompañan sus padres adoptivos Johnatan y Marta Kent. A Clark Kent lo acompañan sus compañeros periodistas Louis Lane, Jimmy Olsen y Perry White. Con los villanos, destacan Lex Luthor, en su versión de empresario; Darkseid y los habitantes de Apokolips. Además, aparecen numerosos personajes invitados, como Batman, Flash, Dr. Destino, Aquaman, Linterna Verde (Kyle Rayner), entre otros.
Synopsis
Superman, an incredibly powerful alien from the planet Krypton, defends Metropolis from supercriminals. Superman hides his identity behind the glasses of Clark Kent; a mild-mannered reporter for the newspaper the Daily Planet. At the Daily Planet Superman works with fellow reporter Lois Lane and photographer Jimmy Olsen.
