Sinopsis
Narra dos historias paralelas: la de José Olaya (Ernesto Alterio), un joven minero asturiano que se ve obligado a emigrar a Argentina en el año 1934 utilizando la documentación y el nombre de su hermano Andrés; y la de su hijo, Ernesto Olaya (Eduardo Blanco), un arquitecto argentino de mediana edad que emigra a España en 2001, también en contra de su voluntad, en busca de una salida a los problemas económicos que acucian a su familia.
Synopsis
It tells two parallel stories: that of José Olaya (Ernesto Alterio), a young Asturian miner who is forced to emigrate to Argentina in 1934, using his brother Andrés’s identity and documents; and that of his son, Ernesto Olaya (Eduardo Blanco), a middle-aged Argentine architect who emigrates to Spain in 2001, also against his will, seeking a way out of the economic problems affecting his family.
